Intermarché wishes you a safe return to real life.
To those who can’t wait to get to the restaurant and ask the waiter three times for bread because he forgot. And to those who can’t wait to say “finally we won’t be 6, we’ll be 9”. To those who can’t wait for the table next to them to be served first, even though they arrived later. To those who can’t wait to pay 5€ for their bottle of water at the airport and have it confiscated right afterwards at the security checkpoint. To those who can’t wait to miss a line in the cinema because someone is eating popcorn and with their mouth open. And to those who really look forward to being placed right behind a pole at the theatre. To those who can’t wait to be suffocated by other people’s deodorant at the gym. To those who can’t wait to say “Hey, let’s go to an exhibition this weekend” and not go. “and not go, because they’re too lazy. And to those who can’t wait to save seats on the terrace for their friends and repeat for the 100th time “yes, yes, the chair is already taken”.
As we watch the photos of an empty Paris scroll by, Fred Testot’s voice humorously calls out to us about all those things we can’t wait to do.
Because as Intermarché says, there is more to life than shopping.
